Hard to imagine that New York was an absolute chilly, rainy mess this past weekend, since as we’re looking out the window, it’s incredibly sunny. Is it 5 o’clock yet? Either way, it was the perfect weekend to catch up on sleep, new movies on Netflix (#sorrynotsorry) and get prepared for spring. You know the whole “April showers brings May flowers” thing? Well, after endless Ides of March, we’re geared up for it. Rain, we’ll tolerate you, but only because a) you’re not snow and b) we know that the best is yet to come. This weekend we..
Annick visited the Open Studio on Bowery to celebrate Garance Dore’s new line of stationary with Rifle Paper Co. Paper + calligraphy prettiness? Le swoon.
MC visited the recently opened Laduree in Soho, checking that one off the list of worldwide Laduree’s to visit. Allison K. visited the revolutionary (and addicting) Sprinkles ATM on the Upper East Side. It’s real folks. We’re considering stealing her pin.
Susannah got her green thumb on by getting seeds in preparation for spring (hey, where you at?) and rescued some daffodils from the elements and distributed them throughout her house-instant sunshine. Claire headed upstate to her house to plant some pansies; instant curb appeal.
Carrie played bartender for her roomie’s bday bash and Susannah escaped the rain and saw a classic. Oh, and then she went to the dressmaker for her first wedding dress fitting. Lace on lace on lace.
Hope you all had a great weekend!
