Maybe it’s because it’s light out when we first open our eyes in the morning and the sun has yet to set when we leave the office at night, or maybe it’s that scent in the air of fresh florals and the feeling of spring, but we’ve noticed that we’re getting this sudden urge to experience life outside our apartments (sorry Netflix + Seamless). It’s a feeling that embraces us every year at this time, signaling a change in seasons, bringing us back to life after a looooong and dormant winter. It’s the type of feeling that has us calling our besties to go picnic in the park, with brie, a baguette, and a bottle of bubbly in tow. It’s the type of feeling that has us wanting to play again. And what better to play in, than a playsuit?

We’ll be playing in polka dots in the Emily Playsuit by Only Hearts + we’ll upgrade our bubbly to a French 75.

French 75
serves one playsuit clad lingerista
2 oz. Dry Gin
1 tsp. Superfine Sugar
1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
5 oz. Champagne to top off
Lemon twist for garnish

In a cocktail shaker, combine gin, sugar, and lemon juice. Shake well with cracked ice. Strain mixture into glass. If you prefer to serve on the rocks, fill half glass with ice and strain mixture over ice. Top off with champagne. Garnish with lemon twist.
