It may be because yesterday was Christmas, and Hanukkah has long since come and gone, but right now, we’re feeling all sorts of traditional. We’ve gathered for the holidays with friends + family and celebrated rituals, both old + new. Although the 2013 holidays are over, we’re not ready to give up on the festivities just yet. Yes, it’s always sad when the presents are unwrapped and the stockings are emptied, but we like to keep the merriment going through to New Year’s (and sometimes even after). This year we’ve decided to get into the Boxing Day spirit by keeping our post-Chrismukkah loungewear as traditional as can be. We give you the Araks Shelby Pajama Top + Tia Boxer; it has the feel of classic menswear inspired pajamas that would do Betty Draper Francis proud, but they’re oh-so-much better.
So, instead of feeling the post-holiday blues, wear them! And spend some time recuperating in the style of the Drapers, Old Fashioned in hand.
Don’s Old Fashioned

1 tsp. sugar
Few drops of Angostura bitters
A splash of soda water to muddle ingredients
2 1/2 ounces Rye or Bourbon
In a mixing glass, muddle orange slice, cherry, sugar, bitters and splash of soda water. Using a muddler, pushing around and break up cherry and orange until flavor is released. Add bourbon or rye and serve over rocks, if desired.
