Our team of lingerie-loving ladies often spends whole stretches of our weekends lounging languorously around our apartments, clad in whisper-soft chemises, doing very little in the best possible way, surrounded by the New York Times and maybe a (very special) guest. But sometimes we get a fire lit under us and have to get out there and see what this brilliant, crisp, fall world has to offer. This weekend was one of those times (though we did get our share of lounging in, never fear). This weekend we…
Emily peeped some incredible foliage in Connecticut, Carrie peeped this fiery tree in Prospect Park, and, on the other side of the river, Annick peeped these gorgeous leaves in Central Park. Hello fall.
Carrie hit up the CMJ music showcases and fell in love with new band Wardell, MC met her grams at the National Arts Club in Gramercy (love grandmother lunches in fancy locales), and Allison B. proved that this view never gets old.
Suzy picked out her pumpkin from a real-live pumpkin patch, and Susannah spent what-might-actually-be-the-last-afternoon-warm-enough-for-rosé at a gorgeous vineyard.
Suzy made friends with these creepy/awesome hand-knit dolls, Emily made friends with her awesome cat Samantha, and Suzy found a friend for her owl-menagerie cookie jar.
Margaret was reunited-and-it-feels-so-good with her two BFF’s (who’ve gone from grape juiceboxes to bottles of red wine together), and Allison K and her BF got together for a birthday-dinner-family-reunion.
Emily sipped a musical coffee, Allison B + Claire tried/failed to resist eating these (super delicious AND amazing) boobie bonbons, and Annick made us all jealous with a slice of Mille Crepe cake from Lady M.
Susannah got ready for some football, and Allison K went rock climbing for the first time (scary!).
And in the pièce de résistance of our weekends, Margaret had lunch (!) in the Temple of Dendur (!!) at the Met during TEDxMet (!!!).
