In classic old-New-York fashion Nicole celebrated the Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy and in a classic-outer-borough-love-fest Susannah took the train out to Flushing to catch a Mets game and hoofed it to Midwood, Brooklyn, for a slice at legendary pizza place Di Fara’s.
Aubrey visited St. John the Divine, New York’s oldest gothic cathedral, and took a “vertical tour”- involving a vertiginous spiral staircase that takes you in and around the buttresses 15 stories above the city. Beautiful.
Allison B. held on to summer with these last tomatoes and Susannah welcomed fall with this bounty of pumpkins.
