Oh summer, how we love you so. And fall, our fondness for you never falters. But here’s the thing. Summer is finally over (so said the equinox) and fall is officially here, but neither feels quite right. It’s chilly in the morning (let’s count how many early workouts we’ve missed due to too-comfy comforter syndrome… um, all of them), but by mid-day we’re down to our base layers and wishing we hadn’t worn boots. So right now, we’re living in the middle. Ice cubes are cool, but so are autumn fruits like pears + apples. And you know what else is cool? Layering a fierce bodysuit (like this one from Stella McCartney) under a sweater in the AM, but tossing the cashmere aside for a sunny afternoon jaunt. Two seasons? That’s double the fun.
