We don’t know about you (if you live in the north, say, above the equator then we’re betting we’re on the same page), but we’re trying to milk every last ounce of summer that we possibly can. And New York City is with us. Our big apple has maintained her oh-so-pleasant steamy (and not always so sultry) climate even though it’s also t-minus one week until New York Fashion Week. Whew. Before fall + fall fashion officially arrive, we’re booking it out of the city and giving ourselves one last summer vacation. We’re heading to the beach, to the pool and crashing the vacation home of every friend we’ve ever had/made just last week. Our plans? Do a whole lot of very little, starting with making drinks. We’re all for luxurious, multi-step, exotic ingredient libations most of the time, but it’s vacation, so we’re going to stick with this Summer Shandy recipe. This drink is simple, crisp, refreshing, and lets us drink beer like boys do, and so we’re channeling the boys and wearing this (not so) boyish baseball-inspired Zinke tee + shorts set. It’s vacation after all, so we’re doing anything + everything that we want, just like we want. Cheers to that.
