The Paris Edition: Day 3

| Life, Lingerie

Day three in Paris found us wandering through le Marais. There are two things worth mentioning here. Un, le Marais is one of our very favorite neighborhoods in Paris et deux, it is still snowing. A lot. But c’est pas de problem.

Petit dejeuner was with Cee from the lovely fashion blog Coco + Vera in a cozy bistro. She’s a Parisian by way of Vancouver and lives in the most charming flat in the neighborhood, which is literally around the corner from Merci, otherwise known as our favorite shop in Paris. (Note the slight hint of jealousy in our tone.) We chatted 2013 fashion trends, her new-found love for lingerie and why the French don’t have stoves.

Despite the consistent snowfall, and the threat of bad hair it brought with it, we meandered le Marais’ tiny streets, through the Place des Vosges, along the Rue Vieille du Temple and found ourselves at the coziest comptoir warming up (and writing, mind you) with vin chaud.

The evening brought a quick trip to Saint German – our other favorite area to wander – and an ah-mazing dinner at Frenchie.

A tout a l’heure…
